Toyota Aqua 2016 Review: Everything You Need to Know

Both are almost identical in size. The car was launched with a 1.5-liter internal combustion engine combined with a CVT transmission and is a full-time hybrid. The car I have is a 2013 S model. Initially, Aqua was launched in 3 packages,

L

S

G

Later, Toyota added other equipment packages to the list such as Black Soft Leather Selection Package, X Urban and G GS, etc. Most of the Aqua cars we have in Pakistan are L, S or G package. Of these 3 packages, S package is the most extensive compared to the other 2 packages. G is much less than the others. The G is the top-spec variant and gets cruise control along with a few other features that are missing in the other two variants. Toyota Aqua has become the most successful brand in Japan after its launch over the past 20 years. After Toyota Prius, Aqua is the second best-selling hybrid model of the Japanese manufacturer. From 2013 to 2015, Toyota Aqua became the best-selling new car model in Japan.

Before starting, I must thank the Executive Car Bank at G8 Markaz Islamabad for providing us with the Toyota Aqua 2013. They were kind enough to lend us a car worth PKR 1.7 million for the duration of the trip. remaining road. If you reside in the Twin Cities and are looking for a used car imported from Japan, visit their showroom. I'm sure you will find the car you want. And I also have to thank Muhammad Iftekhar from ECB, who tested the car with me.

Outside

The Aqua looks like a stretched 2nd generation Toyota Vitz. But overall the car has a very typical Toyota style. The car seems to be related to the 3rd generation Prius and 2nd generation Vitz. However, it is slightly longer than the 2nd generation Vitz. The wheelbase of the Aqua is 2,550 mm compared to 2,460 mm of the Vitz.

The car also has a length of 3,995 mm, a width of 1,695 mm and a height of 1,445 mm. For your comparison, the 2nd generation Toyota Vitz has a length of 3785mm. Simply put, the Aqua is about 8.25 inches longer than the second-generation Vitz. On the other hand, the Honda Fit Hybrid has a length of 3,955 mm, slightly shorter than the Aqua, and a wheelbase of 2,530 mm compared to the Aqua's 2,550 mm.

You get Toyota's typical modern front end in the Aqua with a bulging front bumper and big cuts and edges. You will get the impression of a wide face thanks to the massive mouth with black meshes at the bottom and top. Likewise, you get ample space for fog lights on either side of the front bumper. The front headlights are large and look very similar to other Toyota cars. I think even if you don't have the Toyota monogram on the front, it's easy to judge that the car is Toyota. The hood resembles that of the 2nd generation Vitz. The entire front end, including the fenders, gives a similar appearance to the 2nd generation Vitz, especially the hump just above the Toyota emblem.

Rear of Toyota Aqua

The drama ends as soon as you move to either side of the car. The front doors are quite lackluster and it feels like the designers didn't care about that common area. Even the rearview mirror is quite simple. However, you will get a warning light inside the rearview mirror. Things start to change again when you get to the back of the car. The rear door has beautiful, smooth curves that give the car a neat look. And all the curves and edges point towards the rear and blend into the design of the rear of the car. Once again, you get large light clusters at the rear and a front bumper that takes up almost half of the rear fenders on either side (a metal-saver for the bodywork).

The car seems to be hunched backwards when viewed from the side. And that sloping roofline also affects the car's rear window. The doors are shaped like a boomerang if you notice the window frame lines from the top of the front door to the bottom of the back door. At the rear door you get a narrow rear windscreen and while driving I found the rear window to be inconsistent. You May Also Search for The Best cheap car insurance in Tulsa for 2023
